This accessibility statement applies to all Rare Metal Websites’ digital properties, including our main website, help resources, and any web applications we provide.

Our goal is to make our websites usable by as many people as possible. For example, this means you should be able to:

✔ Navigate using a mobile device, including zooming in up to 300% with reflow
✔ Navigate using a keyboard
✔ Navigate using speech recognition
✔ Navigate using assistive technology (e.g., Screen reader)
✔ Have an appealing, intuitive, and usable experience

We have also made our text as simple as possible to understand.

To support this, we follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. These guidelines are globally recognized as the standard for web accessibility.

Rare Metal Websites is working to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA standard across all of our digital platforms.

How are we doing?

We consider our main website and support resources to be WCAG 2.2 AA compliant. All new releases are built to this standard. However, some legacy components of our platform still fall short.

Known accessibility issues include:

✔ Some areas of the application do not reflow correctly on small screens
✔ Some tables scroll in two dimensions due to the volume of data
✔ Older PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents may not be fully screen reader accessible
✔ Older videos may not include captions
✔ Lack of “skip to content” functionality for screen reader users
✔ Our map widget is not accessible via screen readers
✔ Graphs and chart visualizations are not accessible to screen readers

What are we doing about this?

We are committed to making Rare Metal Websites fully compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. While this is an ongoing process, we have already taken the following steps:

✔ All new content must meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards
✔ Accessibility checks are built into our development and testing workflows
✔ Quarterly WCAG compliance reviews are performed outside of the development team
✔ Internal policies now include accessibility as a shared responsibility
✔ All employees receive accessibility training
✔ We use automated testing tools on our properties to monitor WCAG compliance
✔ We have completed a full VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template)
